Re: Taking the plunge
Inspections used to do that to me too @CheerBear even though I never had anything but positive comments it still stressed me so I hear how that could all be affecting you.
I hope you can get the garden done quickly then have some down time for yourself too Hon. Enjoy the shower and prn and hopefully get some much needed sleep tonight.
I'll check in with you tomorrow to see how you are CB. Much love and squishy hugs for you tonight

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I’ve just read through what’s happening. It’s so very very unfair and unnessary to be put in this situation.
I’m hearing you feeling like breaking point and beyond. I’m shaking my head in disbelief that a human can be this bloody inconsiderate, selfish, plus other words not allowed on the forums.
Hearing you @CheerBear very much.
I hope you get sleep at least tonight. Ranting with you. Sending these. ❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💜💜💜💕💜❤️💕💜☕️💕💜☕️☕️☕️☕️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks @Maggie, @Zoe7, @Teej and others for listening and hearing. I feel okay this morning but I think that's because I'm away from the stress of the house. I'm expecting that might change once we're home again and I have to face it all. My head worried me and it was a good idea to up and go last night. All day I could feel it bubbling away on the inside, getting bigger and bigger. It makes sense that the blow of hearing it wouldn't be fixed until Monday triggered a tizz out. Then the added blow of recovering from that only to hear it wouldn't be until Wednesday plus the way the owner said it all - it was total meltdown.
We have to leave soon and go via the giant shops for a birthday present. We have the party tonight which means socialising and that's the last thing I feel like doing. It's for a teacher's kid and this teacher has gone above and beyond for me and mine, being a huge support since we moved here. If it was anyone else I'd probably let it go but I can't with this one. Big is staying here at this house so they can do homework and shower etc. It means coming all the way back tomorrow to pick them up. At least we'll be able to shower again while we're here.
This is all because the owner doesn't want to pay for a normal plumber. He has a plumber mate who will do it cheaper. I know it's not right but there's little I can do about it without the risk of p.ing him off. He decides whether we'll be allowed to sign when it's lease renewal time and I can't take the risk he'll say no. We were told we were lucky to get this place. Who's going to rent a house to a single, unemployed mum with a handful of kids and cats and a chunk of rental history with "no fixed address" on it, even if she's a respectful tenant who always pays the rent? 😔 He collects houses and I've been homeless. It's a stark reminder of my place in this world. I'm shattered.
I'm sorry @Maggie. I feel like I'm derailing this thread. I know you're having a really hard time too. My heart is full of care and ❤ for you (and others) but my brain is fried and feeling very broken. I'll head out for a bit, wishing the world was different.
Lots of ❤

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear First off, no need for sorry. You certainly have not derailed this thread, this is what this thread is all about, and everyone gets their say. I know your heart is full of care for me and my situation, big ❤️ With that.
I have hot water atm @CheerBear you do not. I don’t for one moment think this is a straw situation, more like a double decker de railment. Huge feels there. 💕💜💕
I hear what you are saying about not upsetting the landlord, makes him a double a..hole in my humble opinion. 😁😁😁😁👍👍💪💪💪
I hate those stark reminders of our place in the world. They all come back to the $$$$, something that has always been low on my scale of priorities, as long as I pay my way, and am never a burden to anyone.
I hope somewhere today there is rest, a break, and some breathing time for you. All the best with the party and socialising, I understand why you it’s necessary. Lots of these❤️💕❤️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
@Zoe7 @Teej @Former-Member @Exoplanet So good to see you all here when you can. 💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear @Maggie The landlord is being an a**hole but I very much hear how hard it is to challenge him CB with those fears that it could lead to non-renewal of your lease. It is so hard to find somewhere with both children and cats so to have a house you can have both is a blessing. Our complex became animal free where I rented but I had been there with my cat before it was sold so I was allowed one cat ongoing. I did have a good landlord though and and it does make a difference. I so hope this one of yours can organise to fix the hot water sooner Hon - the constant upheaval of packing up the LF and having to go elsewhere for showers would be both frustrsting and time consuming - neither of which you need.

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Not sure if this is helpful, if not, that’s ok.
I’m getting my dog an emotional therapy label. That way, landlords etc have no reason to reject them. Cats come under the same label. It’s just a letter from a psych or professional. Just something less to have to battle through.
Very much thinking of you today.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie ☕? (No pressure though).
Missed our morning cups over the weekend. It's been rough but we have hot water again (for now) and that helps. Wondering how you are and how you've been? ❤💕🙂👮♂️🌳🐶🐱🐈🐱☕
