Re: Not sure what to do !!!

i know how you feel, i am having a lot of restless nights too.

im glad Mr Shaz is getting plenty of sleep.

you need to take time out for you too, if you are not at 100% you can't be 100% for your mum and Mr Shaz. so please put some time aside for yourself. maybe a bath, book or good movie. just some you time

Re: Not sure what to do !!!

Hi @Shaz51

Sorry to hear that your Mum really did a job on her arm when she fell last week.  Sounds messy.  Lets hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and allow things to heal up soon.  Hopefully by Friday when she is back to the Dr, things will be under control again.

Sounds as though both you and Mr Shaz are over stretched and over committed right now. So much going on and some big decisions to be made.  Its a difficult time all round.

Thinking of you today and hoping things start to ease off a bit for you soon.  Bring on retirement from work?  Full time carer for Mum and Mr Shaz .... you already do it all anyway.  Perhaps go back to Centrelink and try to make things official. Once less thing for you both to worry about.  Meanwhile I hope you are finding some time for yourself.

Sherry 😁💕

Re: Not sure what to do !!!

I dont know @Shaz51  ... but clearly Mr Shaz is very tired.  Everything that is happening is having a telling affect on him too.  It doesnt mean he wasnt genuine in his offer to move into your Mums place.  Let things settle for a few days and then look at all your options again, and talk between yourselves to work out whats best for all. Or a middle-road option if not everyone is in agreement.  Meanwhile ... please be careful not to overdo things yourself.  Your health is not the most robust, and you certainly do not want to end up in hospital yourself.  You do so much for so many, but sometimes you have to take a step back and lets others do more.  Take some time out for yourself every day.

Sherry 💖😃

Re: Not sure what to do !!!

@Shaz51

It is possible that Mr Shaz is thinking of you in relation to moving in with Mum, whether or not this would work in practice may be in question. Is upstairs/downstairs adequate distance for your own privacy?
