@Sparky79 There are a few things here, has he ever said this before? have any of your other kids said this before? could some of these "imagined" things be things your son has caused and feels guilty about, and is trying to alleviate that guilt or is trying to get away for his or others actions? and why decide to bring it up now?
wow that has given me alot to think about .... some of this is so private i cant talk about here as i have to think of my children, all of them not just him but thank you you have helped more than you know xxx

@Bunniekins ouch, damn, well if it's a genetic thing where would your son place himself? assuming he does it as well. Personally I have limited exposure to this sort of thing, so it's rather tricky for me to comment. The thing is, memories, whether they are of real events or our perspectives of real events, or something we've been told or witnessed and our minds have put us in there, or something our minds have just created on the fly, (I'll get to the point of this long sentence now) The emotions we experience are real, regardless if the memories are or aren't, our bodies react as if it is happening whilst we are recalling them. Our minds can be so cruel at times, bringing up horrific memories or scenarios at the worst times. Whilst other times our minds protect us by blanking memories. Sending big squeezy hugs

@Bunniekins oh no, I couldn't change professions, I couldn't shield myself from what I was exposed to previously, so as an empath it would be very dangerous to expose myself to that sort of stuff daily again

@Bunniekins oh hells yeah, sometimes the blank mind, the numbness is nice, especially when you've been tormented by your mind with flashbacks and horrible mental images about things that may happen or be happening.

@Sparky79so Sparky79 i have probably asked this before but do you think this is just a just a simulation?

@Bunniekins my first response is, does it matter if it's a simulation? it's all we've ever known. If it is a simulation then I want to hack it, find the cheat codes because god knows I'm not enjoying playing this game.
my second response is, it depends on how you define a simulation? as in something being injected into our real minds or being? an alternate universe we are in from the real universe? A prison planet that our race has been banished to due to it's self destructive ways and unpredictable nature?
Given that a few scientists have found numerous pieces of evidence for us living in a simulation I would say that it is most likely that we are in a simulation. our eyes can only see a narrow band of the electromagnetic spectrum, who knows how much we can't see that's actually there, our ears only pick up a narrow band of audio frequencies, and we know for sure that so many other frequencies exist and we are using them (radio, tv, wifi, garage remotes, rfid etc etc). Don't even start me on 2D, 3D, 4D! we live in a 3d world but see it through dual 2D optics, we have so much trouble trying to visualise anything over 4D because we think / mentally visualise in 3D

@Bunniekins break out the panadol for this one.... you know how in our final moments we have flashbacks of our lives, how do we know we aren't in that flashback at this time? you know the same way as a dream can feel like hours, but yet minutes of real time has passed. which then opens the mind blowing stuff of time theory.
I'm almost certain that I'm not in a flashback as I'm sure I'd skip the bits where I was wasting time, doing F'all and sleeping
