Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

@Appleblossom, probably. Or in plainspeak, friends who've lived life with me. Smiley Happy

@Determined, there's a few lines that always jump out at me- " 't is not to late to seek a newer sail beyond the setting sun.... Tho' much is taken, much abides;... Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will, to find, to seek, to strive, and not to yeild."
My Yr. 7-8 English teacher introduced our class to this poem. I loved it then, still love the "never too late for another adventure" attitude of it. Smiley Happy

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

English literature not my strong point but have always tried to look at what remains rather than what has been taken πŸ˜€.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

I like how the older English seems more alive. Well it does to me anyway.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

This reminds us of the Canterbury Tales, have you ever read that old English novel @Smc

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Darling actually took it back and asked are you serious? And they just shrugged and added a couple extra.
