@Glisten that's an interesting point. She doesn't smell like cat when we go out but it would be interesting to smell if I sat next to her in an office environment. Often when I've gone over to see her or drop something off to her the smell when she opens the front door is breath-taking. In the worst way possible.
We've known each other for 51 years. Her mum was my second mum. We've had our ups and downs but we have a lot of history. We were supposed to be doing a cruise or special trip for our 50th anniversary but she quickly told me she wouldn't be able to as she had just started new job, didn't have leave etc etc. I said okay we'll do it in 2025. So what does she do? Goes on a holiday with her friend she's known for 10 years.
We have a mutual friend who moved back to Qld but was coming back over the Christmas break and I said to her to let me know when she was free to catch up. I didn't hear from her and I mentioned how disappointed I was to CCL. She in turn said that oh yes, she suggested we do a high tea but I told her you probably wouldn't come. Not the first time she's done that either.
We used to have her with us for Christmas and she would always leave just after lunch because she'd double book herself. We decided to do it year about so she could spend the whole day with us one year and then the next year with her other friend.
The first year we had her over she left after lunch as usual because she had forgotten the plan.
I spoke to mum and bro about it and we've now decided that we will invite her if we are in town and if we choose to go to 2J instead to have Christmas with my aunt and uncle then she can sit at home with her cats for all I care now.
I love her like a sister, and I dislike her like a sister.
