Re: Taking the plunge

I'm heading to the shower now also (maybe one more cuppa first haha) @Maggie. I had an understanding giggle at "I need to avoid people" 😁

Thank you for the cuppas. Great way to start my day. Hope there is OK or better in yours 💗

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Maggie. Planting with my daughter was a nice activity. Seeing my Dr this morning, time to be honest about how bad it is I think. Hope you have a nice Monday 🌻🌻

Re: Taking the plunge

@Molliex  Sounds like a good, but difficult decision. Fingers crossed you get support and help.

Always ready and willing to listen if it’s helpful. For now, sending these 💜💕💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Dear @Molliex  ... sending you the courage to speak openly and safely to your GP this morning.  I'm confident all well be okay.  Would love to hear afterwards, if you're up to sharing on your thread.  I love the results of your gardening exploits with your daughter.  We have a gardening thread here somewhere, perhaps you could post there about it?  Ummm ... not sure if its on the Carer side of the Lived Experience side?  I cross over all the time, and get mixed up where I'm at. Ha ha.

@Maggie .... wow ... a meeting with a pollie.  Well done you!  You are becoming quite the activist arent you?  I can understand you'd be really nervous about this meeting however.  I'm so glad that the 'angry' Maggie has come out in order to defend your rights.  I can only hope that this meeting may result in some action with regards to your accommodation situation.

@CheerBear  I love waking up early in the mornings and reading the discussions between you and Maggie. I sometimes feel a bit like an evesdropper, but I figure you know I'm around anyway.  Along with probably 100's of others.  😁

If you're reading Mumi ... I hope you are safe and you and your D are doing okay. I miss you, and hope one day you will return.  Perhaps under a new guise?  I'll be watching for you.

Hi also to any others drifting through.

Sherry 💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Re: Taking the plunge

I will watch for your update @Molliex .  Glad your appointment went okay.  I hope the swim allows you to process things to some extent.  I'm going to be away all afternoon ... an appointment for hubby at our nearest large Regional hospital.  Two hour drive to get there, and likely a 15 minute consult with some fancy specialist.  Probably cant do anything anyway.  Then likely in heavy traffic for the two hour drive home again.  Oh well ... gotta try, as hubby not at all well, and seemingly getting worse again.  Anyway ... I will catch your update upon my return home, if I miss it before I leave.  Hope your day is reasonable and that you find things to occupy your mind and body.

Sherry 👍💕

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member  It’s so nice seeing you around.

Good luck at the appointment this afternoon, hopefully the back pain isn’t too bad after a long drive.

I smiled at the ‘ activist ‘ @Former-Member  it’s so not me, but no choices left. I now have a time, 10 am, so I can contact counsellors partner and hope for some support. It’s going to be nerve racking, both waiting and doing, but.........✔️✔️Boxes. 😁😁😁

All the very best today. 💜💕💜💕

@Molliex  Hope the swim helps. 💜💕💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Kettles on @CheerBear  and anyone who would like to join us.

How was your yesterday? Hope unwell person had a stable kind of day, and it went smoothly.

I’m guessing the gig was excellent, as it usually is.😁😁😁

Did you manage to spend time with Sophie? I got a few rows done. A resident asked if she could see it as I mentioned it to her a few days ago. She’s very keen, so it looks like you have started some over the waters 😁😁😁💕💕

My counsellors partner moved a few things around on her schedule and will be with me on Thursday morning. Plus, she wrote a fantastic letter detailing the past year, both here and the housing mess. Though it will be very hard, this has taken so much pressure off, as we can discuss the details outlined there. So all looking good.

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie and anyone who might be around or coming by later 👋❤ A big shout out to @Former-Member. If you're around jump in and say hi if you'd like 💜

My yesterday was super thanks Maggie 🙂 I did whole day - the first of them for a long time. I'm now able to work on lot more independently and am being given gentle challenges as I grow in experience and confidence which I feel great about. I didn't get to Sophie as I was so tired when I got home, but I did work out what I'll make her with 🙂

Yay you getting some rows done! Definitely somw warm fuzzy feels thinking of sharing across the water 😊 And a biiiig yay for your counsellors partner being able to make it on Thursday and for being supportive with a letter. How did you feel reading the letter? They can be tricky ones for me. Everything crossed for you that Thursday is helpful. What you're doing there is really big.
